Poetry (Haiku) - A Prayer for Japan by Yiddo

Haiku is one of the most important forms of traditional Japanese poetry. Haiku is, today, a 17-syllable verse form consisting of three metrical units of 5, 7, and 5 syllables.

I have taken a few poetic liberties in my prayer for Japan.

The Ides of March,
Hiroshige on the wall,
We watch the tv.

Helpless to assist,
We watch updates on Sky,
And turn to our God.
